About the federation
The Antigua and Barbuda Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Antigua and Barbuda. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Antigua and Barbuda abroad.
Our mission
To grow chess on Antigua and Barbuda through rated events, school programmes and strong national teams.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
Our vision
A national team that grows stronger every Olympiad, with more women and juniors in it.
