Winter Rapid at Falmouth Harbour picks the 2026 Olympiad squad

The Annual Winter Chess Tournament was played on 28 December 2025 at the Catamaran Hotel in Falmouth Harbour. The six-round rapid event had separate sections for rated and unrated players.

The rated section was a qualifier for the 2026 Olympiad teams. Victor Ince took third place on tiebreak, and Vendiz Charles also finished strongly; both join the national team. Ateila Bobb, the top female player, finished fourth.
